Ms. Shawna Hubscher is a member in good standing with the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC) and a fellow of the Canadian Migration Institute (CMI). Her practice focuses on the Provincial Nominee Programs, with particular interest in Business Immigration Programs. Ms. Hubscher is a long-time resident of Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada, and together with her network of associates, she offers clients a unique opportunity of being able to connect them to the business community of Kelowna.

Ms. Hubscher holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from the University of Victoria, British Columbia, an Immigration Consulting Diploma from Ashton College in Vancouver, B.C., and a Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) Diploma from Vancouver Community College. Her work experience spans from directing schools of business, ESL and academic courses, to owning her own English as a Second Language School.

Elyse Knowler,LL.B. Case Manager of Pathway to Canada Immigration


She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in British History and Anthropology from the University of Victoria.  Ms. Knowler moved to England where she obtained her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Leicester.  Upon returning to the Okanagan, Ms. Knowler completed her articles with a local Kelowna law firm.  Her work experience is vast, including wills and estates, real estate, and family law. Ms. Knowler is excited to now include immigration law services to her portfolio.

Luning Chen,Administrative Officer of Pathway to Canada Immigration


Luning Chen provides administrative support to the Pathway to Canada Immigration Consultancy Firm. Luning is a native Chinese and has worked in different financial institutions in the Okanagan area as a Customer Service Representative and Account Manager for the last two years. She assists the Chief Executive Officer and support team in the areas of marketing, accounting and providing support for Pathway’s clients with their applications through various immigration programs.

She received a BBA from Okanagan College in 2014 specializing in finance. For the past seven years, Luning developed a strong work ethic and a great interest in multiculturalism due to her work and studies in two different countries. Her experiences of working and studying abroad gave her a deep connection for how immigration consultancy firms seek to help and improve international students and workers’ lives in the Okanagan Region.

Grace Zhao, Immigrant Investors Program Co-ordinator & Student Recruitment Specialist of Pathway to Canada Immigration


Chenxi Zhao(Grace) represents Pathway to Canada serving the position of Immigrant Investors Program Co-ordinator and Marketing Manager. She is a native Chinese and received an MBA from Dalian University of Technology and she also holds a certificate in Economics and Senior Human Resources Management. For the past 15 years, she has focused within the field of business administration and management consulting. A wealth of experience has made it possible for her to develop strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.

She is in charge of our China division, where she specializes in international and local marketing, economic class immigration programs, and international student recruitment and settlement services. She truly understands how to help potential and new immigrants make the transition to Canada and achieve their academic, career and immigration goals. Her education, experience and drive allow Grace to anticipate her clients’ individual needs and exceed their expectations to start a new journey to Canada.

Christy Dickinson, Immigration Case Officer 

Christy DickinsonChristy is the Immigration Case Officer for Pathway to Canada Immigration. Born and raised in the Okanagan, Christy received Legal Secretary and Administrative Assistant diplomas in 2003 and began her career as a Legal Assistant in 2004. While working as a Legal Assistant she worked extensivelyin the area of Canadian citizenship and immigration, specifically drafting and preparing numerous types of immigration applications. In her experience as a Legal Assistant she was promoted to Office Manager and also Senior Legal Assistant.

After a brief time off for maternity leave, Christy is happy to be back working in the immigration field with Pathway to Canada Immigration.
